Crazy little thing called AEGEE..

Today was a beautiful day outside. 

Sunny, warm, spring-like and.. ,you know, the air was different. More sensitive, silky. It`s „plus” outside. 

And in my heart, too.

I want to say „thank you” again to everyone who was part of these- EBM 2011-  memories. But..

I am not sure that this one little word will reflect what I really mean by saying it. 

You know, words are small little bitches who putted on paper can`t reflect your real emotion and feelings inside, and mostly sounds like food without spices or too sweet vanilla cream instead of  being like cold, refreshing mojito after hot, sunny day on the beach, 

when your brown skin is burning and shining in evening sun from „after sun” oil you just have put on. 

When they should make you feel like you are still on this beach, 

like you still have white, hot sands between your foots` fingers, 

like sensitive breeze what comes together with cafe del mar music, made by sound of  ocean`s waves and birds` voices,

 still is touching you..

..

I was amazed how strong, powerful, motivated, united we can be together. Our twin, our second part of soul and now also - a peace of each AEGEE-R members` heart, - u r awesome:*

I think..,- I would like to think that together we have shown a good example to every AEGEE antenna how it is – to be a twins and why it is worth it.  If not.., well.. at least 30 people – from Las Palmas and Riga understood meaning of it and got unexpected experience in such kind of work. Together we can, oh yes.:) [blink] [blink]

I like to think that all good things come to and .. never end. They lead us to next good things. They fulfill our pockets with great memories and blurred images of next  good, crazy, BIG things what will be done by us.

We believe in you, soul sisters. :*

I remember  the first day of EBM.. just few hours before registration was opened. I was sitting somewhere in the gym and somebody asked

- R u OK?

- Yes, I`m just afraid a bit.

- Don`t be. We r here. We will help. [smile]

And they did. A lot.

..

Early, sleepy mornings in cold canteen. Party after hours in wardrobe between total mess with coats and happily drunk participants, long hours  in front of computer in registration day, tight hugs and warm looks when Latvian  superhuman girls were close to cry.

Smiles, energy and laughters during  dance of opening ceremony repetition.

„How we can help, do u need help, let me help.." - in the right place, in the right time.

Day by day.

Funny Chinese welcome packages` factory at SSE, shared dreams during plenaries and workshops..

I wish everyone would have such a twin as AEGEE Riga does.

U know, once I was thinking about what really AEGEE is. Why it is so hard to explain it to others? 

And why  these five letters suck you in deeper and deeper into AEGEE hell after each event, 

after each new person u get to know, 

after each crazy story u been told..

What is this little thing what keeps you here year by year? [smile] [blink]

I still don`t know the answer. 

It`s the same to ask "what is love?".

..

I like to believe that every good word about EBM  what has been told and send to AEGEE Riga is true. We did our best and hope you really enjoy your staying here – in cold, small city of Europe where everyones` heart beats a little bit faster..

U all made our week.

And u know what.. I kind of understand singers and bands now.. when they are amazed of emotions people give to them.

Hope everyone found new motivation, inspiration  or  direction to his own path of life.
